Aim High
Our national philanthropies are the National Kidney Foundation and the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation. The money we raise as an organization for the National Kidney Foundation goes towards expenses that patients suffering from kidney disease and their families face day in and day out. The money that our chapter, Zeta Gamma, raises for the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation goes towards funding scholarships that are dispersed nationally among the sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma.
Our Zeta Gamma chapter also has local philathropies such as the March of Dimes. The March of Dimes is a charity that helps develop research to try to put an end to prematurity among newborn babies. Zeta Gamma chose this philanthropy, because there are some sisters who have been personally affected by prematurity. Phi Sigma Sigma at West Chester Univeristy also raises money for West Chester's philanthropy, Camp Dream Catcher. Camp Dream Catcher is a camp where kids who are infected or affected by HIV or AIDS can go for free and to get away from the troubles that they are facing. Some of our sisters have also been camp counselors at Camp Dream Catcher.
